Welcome and thank you, for visiting The Boat Loft Restaurant at beautiful Delaney  Park!!!  We are so pleased that you have decided to join us for dining and perhaps a weekend getaway. 

The Boat Loft Restaurant is a seasonal restaurant that is open from mid April to late September or early October.  Hours are Friday and Saturdays 4:00pm – 10:00pm and on Sundays 11:00am – 3:00pm.  Private caterings and gatherings are also arranged on a regular basis. 

Delaney Park is owned and operated by Washington County Parks and Recreation.  The park has been providing recreational services to the community since 1980.  The Boat Loft Restaurant has been open for business since 1986.  The park is a 300 acre facility with an 86 acre lake.  Close to 6,000 acres of state forestry surrounds the park on three sides.

Aside from a full service restaurant, the park offers many other family fun activities. There are 16 cabins/lodges, modern camping along with primitive camping to suit all needs.  The park also has a walking trail, playground, basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, a beach for seasonal swimming, pavilion rentals, boat rentals, snack bar and a camp store.  Fishing is abundant whether you rent a boat and enjoy fishing on the water or by relaxing in a chair lakeside. 

Delaney Park is also a trailhead to the Knobstone Trail.  The Knobstone Trail is Indiana’s longest foot path stretching 58 miles from Delaney to Deam Lake through scenic Southern Indiana.  There are also shorter trails for the not so experienced! 

Summer activities at Delaney Park include, a day camp program called the Paddle Club.  The Paddle Club is an age appropriate, structured program active 6 weeks of the summer.  The program also has transportation to and from Salem.  Ask a staff member for details.
